Statement

I am a multidisciplinary artist working between a sculptural practice and media arts. My relationship to the objects and events surrounding me, no matter how small, is where I find inspiration, each finding holds a story, a resonance and is profoundly inter-connected to its environment. I like to re-purpose these finds, perform with them, translate their stories into games, amplify their voices and collaborate with them to mirror what I see and feel from them. I like to build my work through concepts of readymade and interactivity, aesthetically, I play with dualities between indifference and spectacle.

The themes that come up in my work relates often to play, and craft. Whether it is through a VR experience, a piece of adornment or a public performance, play is fundamental to my process, and allows me to explore freely various materials and ideas.
